SIBU: Some 30 Stihl dealers from Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei attended a products demonstration hosted by KTS Trading Sdn Bhd at Sibu Golf Club yesterday.
“The demonstration focuses on Stihl 40cc Brush Cutter (FR/FS230), which is excellent for agriculture and landscaping,” said KTS senior executive Kevin Lau.
He said another product shown was the Stihl battery for urban household usage.
“This Stihl battery has a special feature – it is specially designed to fit in four different Stihl products namely the grass trimmer, blower, hedge trimmer and the smaller version of Stihl chainsaw.”
KTS Trading general manager Augustine Ling and Sibu Golf Club manager Philip Hii were also present.
Later, Ling and Lau jointly handed over sponsorship of two Stihl brush cutters to Sibu Golf Club captain Peter Chiong and the club’s secretary Roland Ha.
Lau said on Thursday, the dealers attended Stihl dealers’ meeting at Kingwood Hotel here, where they were briefed on the latest market changes and new Stihl products.
