The victim lying motionless on the road after the road accident.
KAPIT: An accident involving a passenger van and a motorcycle which occurred at Airport Road here yesterday morning claimed the life of the motorcyclist.
Both vehicles were heading for Kapit bazaar in the 9.30am incident. It is learned that the van had stopped to pick up a passenger when it was rear-ended by the motorcyclist who was thrown off his machine and succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified at Kiu Tien Eng, in his sixties, from Jalan Padang here. He was pronounced dead by paramedics who arrived at the scene of the accident shortly thereafter.
