Senior riders on the Miri Go Kart track yesterday.
MIRI: Nearly 30 participants from Australia, Taiwan, Brunei and Miri took part in the Miri Go Kart Challenge 2018 held at Miri Go Kart track at Permaijaya Tudan on Saturday and yesterday.
Eventual winners will be decided after three rounds of races based on Round 1 (Summer Race on July 28-29), Round 2 (Malaysia Day Race on Sept 15-16) and Round 3 (Monsoon Race in Nov).
Qualifying races for novice, senior and veteran participants took place on Saturday.
Yesterday morning saw all racers going 14 laps per event in the Moto 1 senior race, Moto 2 novice, Moto 2 veteran and Moto 2 senior.
The afternoon action was over 18 laps in the three Moto 3 races for novice, veteran and senior.
The Round 1 finals was scheduled for late afternoon yesterday.
