A Facebook post by Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik hoping that the state Education Department and District Education Office would not take action against teachers who who complained about the dilapidated school situation in the social media.

KUCHING: Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik made a one liner statement via Facebook today hoping that the State Education Department and District Education Office would not to take action against teachers who complained about the dilapidated school situation in the social media.

The posting that were posted about an hour ago had generated 1,300 likes, 211 comments and shared 167 times.

The issue of dilapidated school reached new height after the Mulu fire incident killed a teacher Catherine Janet Tiwi, and injured Nur Syuhada Azharinand Masrina Nian.

Nur Syuhada reportedly have regained consciousness, is responsive and waiting for surgery after being transferred to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) from Miri Hospital last Friday.
