SIBU: A music and dance theatre show dubbed ‘Mamma-Mia’ will be held at the Kingwood Hotel here on Aug 25 at 8.30pm to promote Sarawak State Symphony Orchestra. The event is a joint effort by the Sarawak Arts Council and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports.
Sibu Resident Charles Siaw during a press conference here on Thursday said that admission is free with tickets which are obtainable from Aug 10.
“Tickets are obtainable at Sibu UTC, Sibu District Office and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports office which are within Tun Zaidi Stadium. Those interested should hurry up because we only have 1,000 tickets,” he said.
Among those expected to attend are Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and wife Datin Patinggi Dato Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, and Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
