The verdict was delivered by Judge Ravintharan N.Paramaguru.

Mohamad Fitri from Jalan Dawai 1 Pujut 4D here was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for the murder of Bill.

A total of 28 witnesses had been called to testify since the trial started in March last year.

On June 6, 2017, Judge Ravinthan found that the prosecutors were successful in making a prima facie case against Fitri and he was called to enter his defence.

On the same date, the judge also decided that three other accused – Lie Chang Loon, Chin Wei Chung and Datuk Stephen Lee Chee Kiang be released and acquitted from the charge of being accomplices in the murder.
