Fallen tree branches at Similajau National Park caused by the storm.
KUCHING: The main trail from Kilometre 3 to Turtle Beach 1 and 2 and Golden Beach at Similajau National Park in Bintulu is temporarily closed with immediate effect.
Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) in a statement yesterday said the temporary closure is to facilitate cleaning and maintenance works following heavy rain and strong wind which lashed the area in the past week.
The corporation regrets the inconvenience caused as a result of the closure and assured that the area will reopen once the works are completed.
