KOTA KINABALU: A post mortem will be conducted on the dead male elephant found in Sukau, Kinabatangan said State Wildlife Department (SWD) director Augustine Tuuga.
There were however no visible injuries on the two-year-old elephant, he told reporters today.
The SWD has also dispatched a team of personnel to assist and treat an injured elephant in Taliwas Lahad Datu, he said. The injury was caused by a snare trap, he added.
