Federal staff urged to discharge duties well

LAWAS: Staff of federal government departments are urged to discharge their duties well, and according to the General Order, to avoid any disciplinary action taken against them.

Works Minister Baru Bian also said every federal government agency and department, including those here (Lawas) had to help in disseminating the PH government’s information and policies to the people so that they understand the policies and struggles of PH at the central level, including those related to the Ministry of Works.

“It is important that they support all policies and efforts planned by the ruling government,” he said during a working visit to the federal complex here on Saturday to meet all heads of federal government departments

Chairman of Wisma Persekutuan Lawas Committee who is also Lawas District Rela officer Hanizan Mohd Taib, and Information officer Linda Padan were among those present.

Baru, who is also Ba Kelalan assemblymen and Selangau MP, said he was happy to acknowledge the strong support and pledge of the federal staff here to the new government.

He assured them that he would get the federal government to build a new building for the federal complex here, and also their recreational facilities.

Hanizan, who spoke earlier, assured the minister of their solid support and loyalty to the PH government.
