SANDAKAN: A three-year-old boy who had climbed into a washing machine ended up getting stuck inside the dryer compartment before he was rescued by the Fire and Rescue Department’s personnel at a house in Sungai Manila People’s Housing Project mile 12, here, today.
Fire and Rescue Department Sandakan zone chief Anddre Andrew said the fire station received a call on the incident at 10.43am and nine firemen reached the scene at 10.57am.
The firemen managed to get the victim, Mohd Azam Bin Razlan, out of the washing machine in only three minutes, and the child was not hurt.
