Magnum’s ‘I Can See Clearly Now’ sees needy pupils receive new spectacles

KUCHING: Magnum Corporation recently visited two schools to conduct its ‘I Can See Clearly Now’ programme as part of its MyMagnum corporate social responsibility initiative.

The programme was held at SJK Chung Hua Mile 10 and SK Atas Singai in Bau, where eye-checks and awareness talks were conducted for pupils, while prescriptive spectacles were also provided to those unable to afford them.

To-date, MyMagnum has successfully raised RM836,947 nationwide, screened 55,622 children and contributed 10,884 spectacles to children from 210 primary schools and 19 welfare homes across the country since 2012.
