PORT DICKSON: PKR president-elect Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said yesterday that he had grown tired of entertaining slander or accusations against him as he wanted to focus fully on the campaign to win the Port Dickson parliamentary by-election.

He said he had been through various accusations for almost 20 years and called on those involved to come up with other capital against him.

“I want to carry on with my work. I have been through this (slander) for 20 years. I want to advise (Umno Supreme Council member Datuk) Lokman Noor Adam to find other capital. Even when (PKR communications director) Ahmad Fahmi Mohamed Fadzil lodged a police report, he did not inform me. Even if he had, I would have said nothing … I am just too tired to think (about that),” he said at a press conference at the Pakatan Harapan main operations room here.

Lokman Noor, in a Facebook post on Sunday, allegedly quoted what was purportedly a BERITAMediacorp report that an Indonesian student had lodged a police report claiming that he was sodomised by Anwar in Singapore recently. — Bernama
