ZASS Events, which has organised various rides in previous years, are inviting cyclists to join the first Sarawak Century Ride.
KUCHING: The first edition of Sarawak Century Ride will be staged here on Oct 28, in collaboration with What About Kuching (WAK) 2018.
Organiser ZASS Events Management is expecting 500 cyclists to participate in this event which is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports, together with event partners Merdeka Palace Hotel and Suites.
The event will start at around 6am at the State Stadium in Petra Jaya, with registration open until Oct 27.
Two categories are available – the 80km ride is open to all ages with a registration fee of RM60, while the 160km ride is open to men and women who are 17 years old and above, with a registration fee of RM100.
Registrations can be done online at centuryride.eventRunner.com.my, or in person at Moh Tak Trading, Thong Seng Cycle, Kuching Cycle Hub and Giant Bike Kuching before Oct 27.
The race pack will be given on Oct 27 at Merdeka Palace Hotel and Suites from 9am to 5pm.
