SIBU: A 59-year-old man was killed in a single vehicle accident when the Toyota Hilux vehicle he was driving plunged into Sungei Loba Stubah in Tanjong Manis about 11am yesterday.
Edet Jok, from Jerijeh Baru Belawai, is believed to have died on the spot.
Several Fire and Rescue Department personnel from Tanjong Manis and Sungei Merah stations rushed to the scene to retrieve the body which was handed over to the police.
The cause of the accident is unknown at press time.
