SIBU: By winning 324 votes, George Chen has successfully defended the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) branch leader seat this PKR election.
Chen managed to beat his competitor Joseph Jana who had won 297 votes.
For Kanowit’s deputy chairman post, it was held on by Thomas Laja with 328 votes against Tadomng Tambi’s 279 votes.
Vice-chancellor seat was given to Anchom with 329 votes, a landslide win from his rival Mampi Usop’s 53 votes.
For the party’s deputy president seat, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali won 257 votes while Rafizi Ramli was close behind at 242 votes.
