SIBU: Incumbent Wanita PKR chief Zuraida Kamaruddin wants the party’s Central Elections Committee (JPP) chairman Datuk Rashid Din to reveal the Log Files of the tablets that were compromised in the e-voting for the Julau division’s elections yesterday.
She said this would end all speculation and accusations on the voting process for the division, which was suspended.
“Reveal who uploaded the Prey application and who accessed the tablets for the purpose. All these are in their (tablets’) Log Files,” she said in a statement last night.
Meanwhile, in Selangor, the polls for the Kuala Selangor division, which was supposed to be held on Oct 28 but was postponed to today due to technical glitches, got underway at Dewan Majlis Daerah Kuala Selangor (MDKL) Bestari Jaya, Kuala Selangor at 10am today.
The division has 17,737 eligible voters.
In Sarawak, phase two of PKR’s polls in the state, involving seven divisions, got underway at 9am today.
The divisions are Santubong, Petra Jaya, Stampin, Mambong, Sri Aman, Sarikei and Sibu.
The voting process for all these divisions closes at 4pm.
Phase one was held yesterday involving 22 divisions namely Mas Gading, Bandar Kuching, Kota Samarahan, Serian, Batang Sadong, Batang Lupar, Lubok Antu, Betong, Saratok, Julau (suspended), Kanowit, Lanang, Mukah, Selangau, Kapit, Hulu Rajang, Bintulu, Miri, Sibuti , Baram, Limbang and Lawas.
PKR has 29 divisions in Sarawak. – Bernama
