MIRI: Gracella Ruran won first place in ‘Conservation of Ocean’ arts and craft competition held in Permaisuri Imperial City Mall here yesterday.
For her creative effort, she took home RM200 cash plus a My Craft Studio merchandise item.
The first and second runners-up went to Yuky Siek Qi Qi and Christie Low Xin Ai who took home RM100 and RM50 cash respectively. Both also received My Craft Studio merchandise items.
Meanwhile, Jee Jia Jia, Then Yuk Fuk, Corlis Ling Yu Tin and Tiffany Ngu Jing Wen emerged as the third, fourth, fifth and sixth prize winners respectively winning each of them won a RM30 voucher and a My Craft Studio merchandise item.
Eight consolation prize winners received a RM10 voucher and My Craft Studio merchandise item each,
The competition was part of the four-day Miri Trade Fair 19 jointly organised by My Craft Studio in collaboration with See Hua Marketing Sdn Bhd.
With the theme ‘Conservation of Ocean’, each participant had to transform recycled materials particularly plastic bottles into works of arts.
The main sponsors were Rockville, and Bliss Alliance Sdn Bhd which operates KK Book Centre. The Miri Trade Fair 19 will end today.
