Awang Tengah meets Japanese investors on S’wak plans

TOKYO: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan met with Japanese investors at the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) office here yesterday to discuss plans among companies that are interested to invest in Sarawak.

Awang Tengah, who is also Minister of Industrial and Entrepreneur Development, is leading a delegation from his ministry on a three-day working visit to Japan.

Members of the delegation include Assistant Minister of Entrepreneur and Small, Medium Enterprise (SME) Development Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais, Assistant Minister of Industries and Investment Malcolm Mussen Lamoh, permanent secretary to the ministry Datu Liaw Soon Eng, and Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) acting general manager Hashim Bojet.
