According to him, the equipment could also be used for research and development purposes.

He also briefly explained about the functionality and characteristic of the Power Analyzer PA2201A like measuring and analysing power supplies, inverters, converters, Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV), Electric Vehicles (EV), and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV).

“This model can also be used as energy storage such as uninterrupted power supply (UPS), battery-powered backup and standby systems,” he pointed out.

Yap said it also measures and analyses electro-mechanical systems such as lighting, appliances, industrial machines, and robotics.

“Power Analyzer PA2201A is a compact, lightweight and portable measurement tool which is suitable to be used in the field,” he added.

Khairuddin when commenting on the donation said UCTS will fully utilise the machine for the benefit of the students.
