Gym helps educate youths to stay clear from drugs

MIRI: Warmonger Gym – a leading local gym here that aspires to make Miri a powerhouse for Muaythai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) in Sarawak, is also very supportive of efforts to have drug-free youths.

Recently, the gym jointly organised a Youth Drug-Free Campaign, with Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Miri.

“Warmonger feels honoured in helping out PKR Miri for the ‘Youth Drug-Free Campaign’ for the 12 kids of the local rehabilitation centre and students from a local school.

“We educated the kids on health and martial arts as a way to stay clear from drugs and negative activities. Great to see the kids enjoying martial arts and to encourage them to be strong to say ‘NO’ to drugs,” said Gavin Ghia Mattu – coach and one of the owners of Warmonger Gym.
