MIRI: Boulevard Motor Sdn Bhd, the authorised dealer of Toyota range of vehicles unveiled the All-New Toyota Camry yesterday.
The All-New Toyota Camry in only 2.5V variant is equipped with the best features and specifications expected by today’s drivers.
Its design is more futuristic and expressive. Using TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform, optimal weight balance is maintained as the double wishbone and stronger chassis provide better driving stability.
Under the hood is 2.5-litre four-cylinder 16-valve double overhead cam all alluminium engine that features Dual VVTi (Variable Valve Timing with intelligence) technology which increases power and enhances fuel efficiency. The engine is mated with a six-speed ‘Super ECT’ which optimises gear ratio for smoother overall performance.
The All-New Toyota Camry also incorporates Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) features like Pre-collision System (PCS) which avoids or mitigates frontal collisions by alerting the driver and automatically applying the brakes; Lane Departure Alert (LDA) which alerts the driver when unintentional lane change is detected; Steering Assist which corrects the steering wheel when an unintentional lane change is detected; Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) which maintains a safe distance between vehicles and Automatic High Beam (AHB) which automatically switches between high beam and low beam to provide maximum road visibility.
The car is also equipped with seven airbags, anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and brake assist help to improve safety and stability. The Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) helps the driver to prevent skidding and backward rolling. The Type Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) keeps the driver informed of tyre pressure.
Its interior features leather seats, a seven-inch multi-information display with Optitron meter, DVD player with eight-inch touch-screen display and nine speakers, dual-zone air conditioner with rear vent, USB ports for charging phones and devices, power adjustable steering wheel and smart entry push start system.
