KUCHING: Maybank Premier Wealth Centre will hold a blood donation drive at its premises on the ground floor of Crown Towers here tomorrow (Dec 22).

This year’s event will be jointly run with Kwong Wai Siew Association Youth Section from 9am to 1pm while Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank Unit staff will also be present to assist.

Maybank Sarawak regional director Nasir Khan Istiar Hussain Khan said the annual event is part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

“For this year’s programme, we hope to collect about 100 pints for the Blood Bank. Therefore, I would like to urge members of the public to come and support this programme because the blood that they donate can save lives.

“Attractive goodie bags await successful donors,” he told reporters yesterday.

Maybank Sarawak Premier Wealth Business head Sim Min Nah and other officials as well as Kwong Wai Siew Association Youth Section representatives led by Aw Jeng Wei Wei were also present at the press conference.
