BINTULU: Parkcity The Spring (Bintulu) Sdn Bhd (PTSB), a joint venture company between Sarawak Land (Kemena) Park) Sdn Bhd (SLKP) and Benlong Sdn Bhd has officially opened its first retail offering here tHe Spring Bintulu Shopping Mall built at a cost of RM300 million.

The 390,000 square feet tHe Spring Bintulu is an asset under the management of The Spring Management Services and it aims to bring the multi-award winning shopping brand, tHe Spring concept to shoppers here and the central region with a potential retail sale of RM260 million a year.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and PTSB chairman Troy Yaw were joined by the project board of directors Datuk Joseph Lau, Datuk Jason Tai and James Ling at the grand opening of the shopping mall yesterday.

The mall opening has created thousand of direct and indirect job opportunities in the retail industry, allowing workers to acquire more skills and get opportunities for career advancement.
