MIRI: PKR will contest in Marudi, Telang Usan and Mulu state seats in Baram in the next state election.
PKR Baram chairman Roland Engan said candidates for the constituencies had been identified and their names would be submitted to the top PKR leadership in Sarawak.
“We have identified the three candidates and will submit their names to PKR Sarawak for endorsement,” Roland said during the special PKR Baram meeting at Telang Usan Hotel here on Sunday.
Roland said PKR Baram would continue moving on the ground to meet the people and take note of their grouses especially on NCR land issues and lack of infrastructure.
Meanwhile, during the meeting, Roland was unanimously given undivided support to continue leading PKR Baram for the 2018-2021 term.
The incumbents for the three state seats in Baram are Datu Dr Penguang Manggil (Marudi), Dennis Ngau (Telang Usan) and Datuk Gerawat Gala (Mulu).
