KUCHING: Julau MP Larry Sng is leading a delegation comprising affected families and media practitioners to visit the 47 Malaysians who are currently being detained in Cambodia.

The delegation departed Kuching International Airport (KIA) at around 6.45am today.

They are expected to be received by the officials from the Malaysian Embassy in Cambodia upon arrival.

Sources have it that some of the 47 Malaysians who are being detained over alleged involvement in illegal online gambling have already been charged in court.

To this, Sng said he had no knowledge and should be able to learn about it once they are taken to the Cambodian provincial jail where the Malaysians are held.
