KUCHING: Nirvana unveiled its latest columbarium – Garden of Loving Kindness at Nirvana Memorial Park in Bau near here yesterday.

Its executive director Siaw Chow Jin said the columbarium caters to all races and religion (except Muslims).

Economy niches are for sale to members of the public to be donated to the needy.

Yii takes a look at a niche in the new columbarium.

“So far, over 30 niches have been donated, including six from us. It will be given free to the needy with a letter from a charity home or church,” said Siaw during the launching yesterday.

Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii who officiated at the event donated five niches.

A total of 1,332 niches priced from RM4,988 including cremation service and urn are available. Those located at eye-level are priced at RM5,988 each.

Nirvana Memorial Park managing director Anna Wong was also present.
