Dato Sri Mohammad Mentek
KUCHING: Dato Sri Mohammad Mentek is now the non-independent / non-executive chairman of Syarikat Perumahan Nasional Bhd (SPNB).
The appointment, which took effect on Jan 31 this year, was announced by the Minister of Finance Incorporated via a press statement issued by SPNB yesterday.
Mohammad has been the secretary-general of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government since 2015.
He holds a Bachelor Degree of Statistics from the University of Minnesota, USA, and a Degree in Mathematics from the same university.
Meanwhile, Jayaselan K Navaratnam is now an appointed member of SPNB’s board of directors, effective Feb 8.
Jayaselan is the director-general (administrative and diplomatic officer) of the national housing department, under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.
