The price of RON95 and diesel are unchanged this week, but RON97 will see a five sen increase.
KUCHING: The price of RON97 will go up by five sen per litre at midnight (March 2) tonight, while the prices of RON95 and diesel will remain unchanged.
The Finance Ministry said the price of the premium fuel grade will go up to RM2.43 per litre, whereas RON95 will stay the same at RM2.08.
Diesel maintains its prices once again this week at RM2.18 per litre. The new fuel prices will take effect until March 8.
With a Cabinet decision that was made on Feb 27, the price of RON95 will be capped at RM2.08 per litre.
“The reduction in the price cap for RON95 is in line with the Pakatan Harapan government’s commitment to reduce the cost of living,” the ministry said in a statement today.
