KUCHING: Many items at very attractive prices are up for grabs at the first anniversary celebration of Mydin Petra Jaya, which ends today (Mar 3).
Mydin Mohammad Holdings Berhad’s assistant manager (marketing and brand communications division) Gurubaran Ballalie, said customers should not miss this opportunity to shop for items they always wanted to buy at incredibly low prices.
Many items are on sale at Mydin Petra Jaya’s clearance promotion being held from Mar 1 to 31.
Gurubaran told reporters yesterday that the celebration features many promotional activities such as Happy Hour Sale for non-food items, coupon giveaways, with items that are sold at cheap prices for walk-in customers.

The Happy Hour Sale runs at 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 9pm from Feb 28 until March 3.
“Prices of items offered for sale during the Happy Hour are surprisingly low.
“For example, a Philux 1.0 litre PL10 rice cooker is sold at RM30 (RM56.50 during non-promotional period).
“Our celebration has attracted many shoppers to our hypermart to shop for their daily needs.
“The price drop on some promotional items have indeed caught the eyes of shoppers,” added Gurubaran.
There are also some interesting activities for shoppers during the celebration period.
Among them are various contests, such as Gardenia bread-eating, Maggi Pedas Giler-eating, and Pran juice-drinking.
Other activities are blood donation drive jointly organised by Sarawak General Hospital Blood Bank and St Joseph’s Secondary School Muslim Students Movement (Josipa).
