MIRI: Borneo Evangelical Mission (BEM) On the Rock will hold a two-night Christian Revival Rally today (March 14) and tomorrow at Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club here.
Two renowned speakers from Indonesia – Pastor Gilbert Lumoindong and Pastor Dr Deddy Goandys – have been invited to speak at the event.
“We are expecting a huge crowd as the speakers are no strangers to churches here.
“Various activities have been specially arranged for the two nights, such as Praise and Worship led by the church worship team known as Rock Waves, dance performances by the youths and special appearance by an Indonesian gospel artiste Rando Sembiring who has won several singing competitions on Indonesian National Radio in past years,” said organising chairman Petrus Lasong.
A ‘Happy Family’ seminar targeting parents will also take place in the morning at the church on March 15 and 16, from 9am onwards. Admission to the seminar is free.
Meanwhile, a senior pastor Andy Anyi said the climax of the event is the church 17th anniversary celebration to be held at the church this Saturday.
“Everyone is invited to share in this celebration of God’s great love and faithfulness,” he added.
