MIRI: Toastmasters International Division E will hold a speech contest at Piasau Nature Reserve’s Interpretation Centre tomorrow (March 24), starting 11am.
Champions from Bintulu, Miri, and Brunei Toastmasters clubs will compete in the International Speech and Table Topics Speech contests.
Division E director Lisa Chee said the contests are important parts of the Toastmasters’ educational programme.
“We invite members of the public to come and witness the contest.
“It will be an entertaining afternoon listening to inspiring speeches from Toastmasters champions from Bintulu, Miri and Brunei. Admittance is free,” she said yesterday.
The champion will represent Division E at the District 87 championships in Medan, Indonesia on April 14.
District 87 covers 141 clubs in Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei, and Indonesia.
