Threesome gone wrong: Husband and wife jailed for their offences

SIBU: A 46-year-old woman who had caused grievous hurt to another woman after allegedly stabbing her in her private parts was today sentenced by a Sessions Court here to eight years behind bars.

High Court Deputy Registrar Stella Augustine Druce, who presided over the proceeding today, convicted Ting Hai Hua of Kapit after she pleaded guilty to voluntarily causing grievous hurt to the 34-year-old victim by using a knife, in a rental room at Lorong Lajong between 8pm and 9.30pm on March 24.

Ting was charged under Section 326 of the Penal Code which provided for a maximum penalty of 20 years’ jail and liable to fine or whipping.

According to the fact of the case, at about 10.50pm on Mar 24, a team of CID personnel led by ASP Mohd Fazirul was despatched to a crime scene at Lorong Lajong.

The team apprehended the accused and also found a small kitchen knife near the kitchen. which was believed to be the weapon used by the accused.

Investigation revealed that the accused had stabbed the victim’s thigh area with a knife between 8pm and 9.30pm on Mar 24, at the crime scene.

It was previously reported that prior to the incident, three of them were inside the room. While inside, the man had four cans of beer while the women only took soft drinks.

After drinking, the three of them agreed to have a threesome.

It was said that the man and the accused had sexual intercourse first before proceeding to have sex with the victim. However, he stopped after a short while and decided to sleep instead.

The victim scream after being stabbed by the accused at her thigh area. Following that, the accused quickly ran out of the room. She had stabbed the victim out of jealousy after their sexual intercourse with the man who is her husband.

Meanwhile, the accused’s husband Maram Mebang, 29 of Kapit was also charged separately and was sentenced to seven months’ jail by a Magistrates’ Court here, after pleading guilty to enticing a married woman whom he knew to be the wife of other man with intent to have illicit intercourse with her in a rented room at Lorong Lajong between 8pm and 9.30pm on Mar 24.

He was charged under Section 498 of the Penal Code which provides for a jail term of up to two years or fine or both.
