Retiring staff advises colleagues to love their career

SIBU: Personnel of the Road Transport Department (JPJ) here were advised to love and appreciate their career.

Retiring staff Mora Bait gave this advice in his farewell address at the monthly assembly of JPJ branch here recently.

Mora will retire on May 7 after serving with JPJ Sarawak for more than 37 years.

He is among the pioneer officers of JPJ Sarawak which he joined in 1984 and helms the prosecution unit of JPJ Sibu. He has served in various JPJ branches throughout the state including as the first head of JPJ Sibu branch.

“On May 7, I will officially retire at JPJ Sibu where I had also served as the branch head,” he said.

Earlier head of JPJ Sibu, Mohd Faizal David Jemat expressed his appreciation for all his contribution and deeds.

“My heartiest congratulations to Tuan Mora for his outstanding service till retirement. This is a great achievement,” he pointed out.

He urged all the personnel of JPJ Sibu to emulate the integrity of Mora in discharging his duty and his contribution to JPJ Sarawak.

He requested Mora to continue giving advice and share knowledge as well as his wide experience voluntarily with JPJ personnel if required.
