SIBU: Kelab Sape Dayak Sibu will be holding ‘sape’ classes at Sibu Heritage Centre at Central/Wong Nai Siong Road from2pm-5pm starting today (April 20).
According to its chairman, Anthony Abong, those interested can sign up with a fee of RM80
for four sessions or RM25 per day.
“The class will be held on the first and third week of every month, starting April 20.
“After each session, we will perform ‘live’ at Sibu Heritage Centre from 5pm to 7pm,” he said when met yesterday.
He added that the class was timely held for the sape enthusiasts, especially for those wanting to learn playing the musical instrument.
“The class is open to everyone (adults and students) keen to play the sape, adding that school teachers were also invited to attend.
