SIBU: Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd expects to rake in sales of RM1.5 billion this year on the back of their good performance last year and its year-on-year growth of 26 per cent, says its managing director Lim Khing Heng.

“We did very well in 2018, hitting sales totalling RM1.26 billion. We expect to achieve RM300 million out of our total sales projection from our stores in Sabah and Sarawak this year,” he told reporters before officiating at the opening of Grand Senheng outlet here yesterday.

Lim also said they planned to open up more shops in Sarawak in the future, adding Senheng currently  has 112 outlets nationwide.

“From the 112 outlets, 10 outlets are in Sarawak including two at Delta Mall and Wong King Huo Road in Sibu and another 10 outlets in Sabah,” he said.

On the Grand Senheng outlet here, he said it was the 10th such outlet in the country.

He said it was converted into the ‘lifestyle’ format after its older store was remodeled and expanded.

“Today’s consumers want more selection and comfortable place to do their shopping. I believe this new shop is two times better than our competitors as it offers more variety,” he said.
