KUCHING: Sarawak Bonsai Association is holding the ‘14th Sarawak Bonsai and Suiseki Open Competition and Exhibition’, taking place at CityOne Shopping Complex here until April 30.
This event not only exhibits masterpieces collected by association members over the years but also includes many outstanding species from various divisions across Sarawak that are up for competition in various categories.
Sarawak Bonsai Association will be hosting three well-known Pan-Asia international judges, slated for the judging of 15 group categories.
All are welcome to join the talk on ‘suiseki’ (art of stone appreciation) today, commencing at 10am. There is also a bonsai demonstration on the same day, to be assessed by the judges throughout the session that run from noon to 3.30pm.
