SIBU: The Sarawak government yesterday announced that it will present a bus to Mukah Polytechnic for the convenience of its students.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said this during a  townhall session: ‘Berambeh Ngan Abang Jo’ at Mukah Civic Centre.

The request was approved when one of the (Mukah Polytechnic) students asked if there was any allocation or assistance for the bus facility.

It is understood that the polytechnic has three buses, but two have broken down.

That aside, Abang Johari also said that the Sarawak government would bear the cost of repairing the two buses.

The government will also give some allocation to repair  the cultural association’s clothing (busana) collections, and the roof of the volleyball court at the polytechnic.
