KUALA LUMPUR: Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yesterday gave his assurance that the police’s investigation on a sex video linked to a minister will be conducted transparently.

He said the investigation would be conducted based on stipulated guidelines without the influence of any quarters.

“We assure that the police will be transparent in their investigation… let them investigate and we wait for the report.

“We have a task force and we are confident that the team will investigate the matter indepth from the legal aspects to determine whether the video is genuine or false,” he told the media at the Parliament lobby yesterday.

He said time should be given to the police to investigate the case, but believed it would not take years. — Bernama
