KUCHING: An attempt to create the biggest car club gathering in the state was held at the Aeroville Mall here yesterday.
Orgnised by BMW Club Sarawak, the Mega Cars Club Gathering (Sarawak Wheels Meet and Greet) saw around 180 cars from 16 car clubs participating in the gathering.
“Our aim was to host the biggest car club gathering not only in Sarawak, but perhaps in Malaysia as well.
“Other than that, we would like to promote and bring up motor sports here in Sarawak,” said its president Vincent Wan when met yesterday.
Also present at the gathering were Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii, Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How and Padungan assemblyman Wong King Wei.
