KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Wildlife Department has launched its Hotline and e-Complaints (e-Aduan) service to handle inquiries, reports and complaints lodged with the department.
The Sabah Wildlife Department Hotline number is 088-254767 while the e-Complaints (e-Aduan) could be lodged at www.wildlife.sabah.gov.my which is open 24-hours every day.
According to Sabah Wildlife Department director, Augustine Tuuga, any queries, reports and complaints will be attended to within 48 hours upon receipt.
He said that with the platform, the department hopes to be able to provide more efficient service to the people and help mitigate wildlife-people conflict, enforce regulations on wildlife related crimes and regulate the issuance of licenses and permits as required under the Wildlife Conservation Enactment 1997.
