Queen of comedy Joanne Kam will feature at WAK.
KUCHING: As part of What About Kuching (WAK) festival in celebrating the arts, culture and lifestyle, Malaysia’s Queen of Comedy Joanne Kam Poh Poh and her comedy partner diva BiBi Kay Poh will be showcasing Divas of Comedy, a special comedy variety show on Oct 4 and 5 at Chemsain Auditorium starting 8:30pm.
The cabaret extravaganza will feature fabulous costumes, glittering crowns and engaging comedy that will leave the audience in stitches, singing and dancing at the end of the night.
Joanne Kam and Bibi have come a long way from days of the Boom Boom Room franchise, both having worked at the Kuala Lumpur branch, the birthplace of Malaysia’s cabaret scene.
Divas of Comedy will be supported by the Funky Divas – elite diva performers who will add their sexy, glamorous and versatile repertoire to the show and hosted by Malaysia’s most fabulous famous beard Prakash Daniel.
Divas of Comedy show is for those 18 and above only.
