SARIKEI: Chua Sing Tak is looking for his great grandfather’s relative, Chua Chin Kee, or his next of kin, to help settle the ownership of the land where his family’s house is located.

He only knew that his great grandfather, Chua Ah Jaw, had appointed Chin Kee as the representative of his estate after he checked with the local Land and Survey Office recently, Sing Tak said.

Based on a print out of title of the land known as Lot 192, Block 6, Seblak Land District, Roban obtained from Land and Survey Department, Betong Office, the about 4,150 square meters land was transmitted to Chin Kee by Chua Ah Jaw vide official document L.809/1975 of 24.07.1975, Sing Tak said, adding, his great grandfather’s status then was “deceased”.

“I am not sure why my great grandfather had transmitted the land to Chin Kee instead of my late grandfather, Chua Ngi or my late father, Chua Ah Nam. Neither do I know the relationship between my great grandfather and Chin Kee,” Sing Tak said.

He is appealing to those who know the whereabouts of Chin Kee or next of kin to contact him through 011-35742008 or 019-7015288.

According to Sing Tak, Chin Kee left Roban after the Bazaar was destroyed in a fire many years ago.
