KUCHING: The many bargains offered at Mydin Hypermarket Petra Jaya here, coupled with its pleasant shopping environment, have made it a preferred destination among customers, especially with the promotions held in conjunction with its 62nd anniversary and Malaysia Day.
Production supervisor Hahsdi Doll, 49, opined that the ease of parking plays an important part in his shopping experience, and Mydin Petra Jaya has lived up to his expectations.
“The number of parking bays available is one of the reasons to visit Mydin Petra Jaya as we are able to avoid the headache of looking for parking.
“Besides, the air-conditioned environment provides a very comfortable and cooling shopping experience for us,” he said.
His sister Suhaila Doll, 39, who works in an insurance company, said she always feels satisfied during each visit to the hypermarket as she can get more value for her money when shopping for groceries.
“Shopping at Mydin Hypermarket is definitely worth it as there are many bargains up for grabs. For me, I would prefer to come to Mydin compared to other hypermarkets.”
Meanwhile, former Land and Survey Department staff Suwali Dahlan, 75, shared that he shops at Mydin Petra Jaya at least twice a month, adding he believes the hypermarket is ‘a cut above the rest’.
“It’s a good experience coming to Mydin Petra Jaya to do my shopping. The items I usually buy are cheaper here compared to other hypermarkets,” said the pensioner.
