Paramedics seen attending to one of the victims in the motorcycle accident.
KUCHING: Two young men were seriously injured after their motorcycle collided with a car along Jalan Batu Kawa-Matang near Taman Malihah near here on Sunday night.
According to sources, the two men in their 20s were riding their motorcycle before colliding with a car coming from the opposite directions
As a result of the collision, one of the victims suffered a broken right leg and some injuries while his friend sustained serious injuries on his right leg and right arm.
Paramedics who arrived at the scene around 12 midnight provided early treatment to both victims before they were taken to Sarawak General Hospital where they were warded in Red Zone and Yellow Zone respectively.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a 80-year-old man was injured in the head after he fell and hit a wooden pole which had a screw at Jalan Sekama, 1pm yesterday.
It is understood that the elderly man was walking in the area before collapsing which resulted in his head being injured.
