SIBU: The highly-anticipated Sibu International BASE Jump 2019 has kicked off.
The opening ceremony for the three-day event took place at Tun Tuanku Bujang Square here yesterday, with Deputy Sibu Resident Wong Hee Sieng officiating at the event.
The 11th edition has attracted BASE jumpers from all over Malaysia inclusing one from Sarikei, as well as Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, the UK, Estonia and Poland.
Tomorrow, the jumpers will get to experience a ‘truly Sarawakian longhouse dinner’ at Rumah Jimbun in Bawang Assan near here.
