KUCHING: Sarawakians interested to know, understand and appreciate their rights within the Malaysian Federation are invited to join a dinner-rally at Redeem Hall, Singai, Bau on November 2.

The ‘Inquest of Independence Dinner 2019’ is organised by a team of ‘Bangsa Sarawak Nationalists.’

It will be a very important event especially for those who want to know more about the ‘secrets’ behind the formation of the Federation of Malaysia, according to organising chairman Alim Mideh at a press conference yesterday.

He revealed that three prominent, experienced and concerned nationalists of Bangsa Sarawak will enlighten guests with the ‘tricky’ formation of the Federation; who benefit at the expense of who currently in Malaysia and the way forward.

They are Party Bumi Kenyalang president and former Batu Lintang assemblyman Voon Lee Shan; former Tasek Biru assemblyman, former Mas Gading MP and parliamentary secretary Patrick Anek Uren; and former Padungan assemblyman and Sarawak Association for People’s Aspiration (Sapa) president Dominic Ng.

“It will be an evening you will treasure for life,” Alim promised.

He said tickets are limited and available at RM35 per person to cover food, venue and event costs. There are a limited number of tickets at RM100 per person for generous Bangsa Sarawak nationlists.

“We are also looking for sponsors to pay for the printing of tickets and rental of PA System,” he added.

Alim Mideh can be contacted at 012-8467234.

Voon and Ng were also present at the press conference.
