Sarawak Deputy Police Commissioner Dato Dev Kumar said police from the Sarawak Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) led by ASP Jong Lak Kho carried out the raid on the first floor of a shophouse in Luak Bay at around 7.40pm on Sept 29.

“The team nabbed two of the suspects on the five-foot way behind the shophouse.

“The two then led the team to the first floor of the shophouse where the police caught another male suspect in the midst of weighing four ecstacy pills on the table in the living room,” said Dev Kumar during a press conference here today.

He said the three suspects, aged between 32 and 47, were unemployed. They also tested positive for abusing the drug methamphetamine.

Police also found several liquid mixtures, believed to be a blend of fruit juices and ketamine inside a refrigerator.
