No leads on Day 5 of search for missing 6-year-old

BINTULU: The search for missing Puteri Nurardiana Damia Qaisara Abdullah entered its fifth day yesterday, with the search radius expanded to two kilometres from the family’s home.

District police chief Supt Zulkipli Suhaili said those involved in the operation had yet to find any positive leads that could point to what happened to the child.

Puteri Nurardiana went missing last Saturday from her family’s house at Sungai Kemena in Kampung Baru Laut, here.

Her mother told police she discovered her child missing around 3.30am, having last seen her around 2am, and feared she may have fallen into the river. The six-year-old is 120cm tall, weighs 18kg and has fair skin and shoulder-length hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a purple T-shirt and red shorts.

Zulkipli, meanwhile, urged the public to contact the police station on 086-331121 should they have any relevant information on the child’s whereabouts.

He also advised against speculating on the case.
