KUALA LUMPUR: Two state assemblymen have been detained on suspicion of supporting a terrorist group.
This was confirmed by Head of the Counter Terrorism Division (E8) of the Special Branch, Bukit Aman, Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, when contacted by Bernama today. He did not elaborate.
The police will hold a press conference at Bukit Aman at 4pm today on the matter. – Bernama
