MIRI: Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday officiated the ‘Dirgahayu’ exhibition at Pustaka Miri.

The exhibition, which runs until Oct 18, is organised in conjunction with the Head of State’s 83rd birthday celebration, which is centred in Miri this year.

Taib was accompanied by his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib.

The exhibition also witnessed Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg launch a book titled ‘The Pillar of Harmony’.

Held at the lobby of Pustaka Miri, the exhibition is open to the public and features rarely-seen photographs of Taib, arranged in chronological order, starting from the 1960s when he was an assemblyman up until his current position as Head of State.

Visitors to the exhibition will be given the chance to join a quiz session to win prizes. The questions for the quiz are based on information from the exhibition.
